Five-star power forward Edrice Adebayo has started to schedule his official visits, according to Adebayo's mentor, Eric Peartree.
Adebayo, who recently took an unofficial visit to Auburn, will be at Kentucky this weekend for an official.
"Bam will be at Kentucky this weekend, and that will be an official," said Peartree. "He's going to go to [NC] State at the end of the month, the 31st. After that he's going to set up official visits to Wake Forest, Kansas, and he will go back to Auburn for an official.
"Those are the trips he is planning on right now."
Peartree added that Adebayo didn't have a timeframe for making a decision, but has some factors that are important.
"He wants to know who will he be playing with," said Peartree. "Bam wants to go to a school where he can play with a really good point guard. He needs to have a good point guard who can get him that ball. He's also looking to play at a school where he can win."
NC State recently landed a commitment from Dennis Smith, who teamed with Adebayo on the AAU circuit. Peartree added that was a big pickup for the Wolfpack.
"Junior is terrific," he said. "They are like brothers. They are really close, and Bam knows all about NC State getting Junior."
Adebayo is rated a five-star recruit by Scout.com, and he transferred to High Point Christian Academy for his senior season. While his recruitment is heating up, that is not on Adebayo's mind.
"Bam wants to prove he is the best player in the country," said Peartree. "People are still sleeping on Bam, and that is where his focus is right now. He really believes he has a lot to prove and that's what he's trying to do. He's got a lot better since last season."
