NC State's game against Clemson on Halloween will be an event that lots of recruits will be on hand to see. Jeremiah Hall will be in the stands and it's a game he's looking forward to.
Hall (6-3, 225) has an offer from NC State so he has an open invitation to attend a game whenever he would like. He might not be far from the NC State campus but he has not been able to go to any of the Pack's games this year. That's another reason why he's so excited to watch NC State take on Clemson besides the fact that the game will feature a Tiger team that has national championship aspirations.
Eddie Faulkner talks to Hall frequently and the junior said they interact even more on Twitter. Faulkner often asks Hall how things are going with his Vance High School football team and with school itself.
"I was there once over the summer but that's been it so far. I'm looking forward to visiting again and being able to actually see a game environment. I got to know Coach Faulkner once or twice when he first started recruiting me. We would have little brief conversations about how he was looking forward to meeting me. Then I went up there and spent a couple of hours there."
That was the summer visit right around the time of Hall's offer.
Faulkner's family was there for Hall to meet. Hall's mother was there as well and she seemed to enjoy meeting the NC State coach and others that were in the program.
"I got to know him pretty well. I got to meet Coach Faulkner, the tight ends coach and the head coach. It was a pretty good experience. Everybody was introducing themselves to me and I liked it."
Hall hasn't been to any NC State games this fall but he hasn't been to games anywhere else either. He will see Clemson when they play in Carter-Finley Stadium and he will travel to Clemson when they play Florida State in Death Valley.
"I went to Clemson for three days over the summer and I loved their facilities. I really loved it. I loved Coach Pearman and the type of people they have. They have a great family environment. I also went to Florida State. They're good people but I don't know them as well as I know NC State or Clemson but I liked their facility. I liked the coaches. We'll see how that goes. Also I stopped by Duke. That was a one day camp so I didn't really get to talk to too many coaches up there. And I stopped by Carolina and got to meet their tight ends coach and talked to him a little bit one on one."
Hall has had a strong season for Vance as a receiver. The junior tight end had two touchdown grabs in a game against West Charlotte this month and he's become a go-to weapon in their pass attack.
