Brissett: "I Just Want To Beat Them"

RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State senior quarterback Jacoby Brissett discusses the upcoming game against Florida State.

"They are a physical football team.  They are really good and always have good football players."

"Going into this week that's our main focus, finishing a game and playing four quarters."

"I think we showed a lot of stuff last year that really gave us a few pointers about them going into this year and a lot of similar players came back."

"They are a really good team and coming off a tough loss so we know they'll be ready to play."

"We have make sure we're ready to play.  Last year is last year.  This year we have to go out and actually finish a game.  We can't go out there thinking it's going to be like last year."

"It's another chance for us to get a win... we have to go out there and play our game... everything else will take care of itself."

"They are a playoff-caliber team.  I can't remember the last time we've won there and it's an opportunity for us to play another game with each other."

"They are going to come out and play physical. We know that coming off the loss.  We have to go out there and start early and finish it."

"I think that really woke a lot of players up. They were the No. 1 defense in the country and a really good team and we got to do a lot of good things against them that we weren't supposed to do, so to say."

"They were the No. 1 ranked rushing team in the country and I think we ran the ball well against them.  We had two rushing touchdowns, which a lot of teams don't do against them."

"We threw the deep ball a lot and let our players go up and make plays... we have to be ready to do that again this week."

"Everybody is locking in and knowing they have to focus more each week."

"It's not our stadium, but at the end of the game when our fans are the only one's there, that's what matters."

"He really played well.  I don't think he gave up a sack... he did a good job in the run game. We put him in some situations where he was one-on-one with one of the best defensive ends in the country. He did a good job."

"We just have to go out there and let it all hang out... let everything happen from there."

"Most definitely. Boston College was so good inside so it was hard to just stay in the pocket and let them tee off on us. It was good to change the pocket."

"Just to change the pocket location is good for us and it gives us more time."

"I don't...I just want to beat them. That's all it is."

"Nah, I don't care that much... I just want to beat them."

"That's his job.  He has to do his job.  Everybody else has to do their part.  No one has lost faith in him. He just has to go out there and kick the ball... when he gets his chance to hit a game-winner I'm sure he'll make it."
