VIDEO: Pack Players Talk Opener

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media to discuss the season opener against William & Mary.

"Split-second decisions and being able to be vocal and run a team... learning all the positions as well."

"I know that a lot of point guards I play will probably be Cat's size, so I can use that to my advantage."

"They are going to be smaller and quicker so I need to be able to contain the ball and keep them away as well."

"For sure, we can't overlook anybody.  Everybody that we play is going to be good.  We have to come out with some fire and energy."

"They are a very good team. They can shoot the ball really well."

"The whole year. It's been a long process, a long journey.  I'm looking forward to it."

"I took everyday as practice and treated it like a game."

"I'm looking forward to showing everybody what I can do."

"I'm a year older now so that helps out too."

"I don't think we'll have any types of problems scoring."

"Our scoring will be spread out a little bit... I think our defense will become the main thing this year.  We'll switch it up a little bit."

"I definitely think we're hype, we're excited, and ready to go."

"We've been waiting for this moment."

"Everybody wants to come out here and prove they got better and worked hard over the summer."
