Burris: "There Is No Added Pressure"

RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State senior cornerback Juston Burris discusses the upcoming game against North Carolina.

"A ranked opponent coming into our stadium, we're going to try and do what we do and come out with the win."

"I think we played hard against that Florida State team, and this team is a good team too.  Carolina is a really good team and really talented."

"I think if we can get after them and limit their production we'll be fine."

"I think their running game has come on. They've always been good in the passing game and have good receivers. Obviously Marquise Williams can get the ball up and launch the long ball."

"I think their running back is having a tremendous season, and that's what really came on with their offense, that added facet."

"I'm fine.  My leg is just a little bruised, but I'm fine."

"As far as UNC, it's hard not to because they are right down the street.  10-1... they are a good team. They beat Duke 66-31 and obviously put up points.  I don't think they've kept up with a defense like we are, and I think we have the players to stop their offense. We just have to go out and do it."

"I did. Having a lot of friends that were Carolina fans, just having that friendly rivalry with them and now actually being in the game is big for me... being from this state and from this area. I just want to come out and get the win because it's such a big game."

"I know Russell Wilson going there, 42-10 I think? That's probably one that stands out."

"I think once you get there it's a regular game. All the rivalry is the lead-up to it.  You can't change anything... you have to settle down and play your regular game."

"Getting the pick last year was great, beating them 35-7.  They have an added edge to them this year, and I think they are going to come and play hard.  But, I think we can get them."

"We're very tight.  We've been here five years, and just the comradarie we have.  We're a tight-knit group, especially me and Hakim. We're roomates, and he's one of my best friends here."

"Definitely in the years to come coach Doeren is going to have the program where it needs to be. I can already see that coming along. I can see that with the leadership. We actually have a Leadership Council and everybody has become more vocal."

"It's simliar. All coaches are similar in that they aren't trying to get too high or too low. For coach Doeren it's a business week for him... we are trying to get that eighth win."

"Hopefully the NFL works out. I've been thinking about Law School, things like that, but I don't really have a definite answer. Those are things in the back of my mind."

"It's an emphasis because it is a big deal.  You're going to have everybody talk about it all week, how big of a game it is."

"We lead by his example, and we're going into this level-headed... trying to stay composed and do what we have to do to get this win."

"It is my last time and it is big for me. I'm trying to go out with the win."

"We have to do what we've done before, the past 11 games."

"There is no added pressure. We just have to do what we have to do to win."

"I guess it does, but we know they are going to come out with something different. They've probably been saving plays just for this game."

"We're going to read our keys and not get off focus in that regard."

"It's big. That's the biggest thing I'm going to miss... my last time I'll be able to do it. That rush... 60,000 fans screaming."

"Not too many now. I did before. Obviously I've been here a long time. I know a couple. I was actually at the Shrine Bowl with Marquise Williams. We both played in that, but not too many more though."
