Morgan had a great junior season at Suncoast, playing quarterback he passed for over 1,000 yards 13 touchdowns and rushed for another 7 TDs. Defensively, he had 3 interceptions while playing both the defensive back and free safety positions. This type of versatility has led to all kinds of recruiting interest, and right now Dajuan is focused in on five programs.
"My top five would be Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma, NC State, and Miami. I like all of them for different reasons, but those are my favorites. They are all big-time programs that win and I like that."
Suncoast High School was also the home of former Wolfpack target and prep standout Devin Hester. Two years ago, the Wolfpack battled the Miami Hurricanes and Florida State Seminoles down the wire for the talented athlete only to lose out to the Hurricanes in the end. Morgan remembers Hester's recruitment and the effort the Wolfpack put in for him.
"I remember how hard NC State was after Devin and when he came back from his visit he was saying how much he liked it. The NC State coaches would be in the coaches office here drawing up plays for how they wanted to use Devin in their offense. I think it showed how much they wanted him."
"NC State seems to be after me the same way. They said I can throw some wrinkles into their offense with what I can do and maybe even go both ways. I also like Coach Holliday and Coach Amato. I'll be taking a visit up there."
Don't look for a decision anytime soon from Dajuan, who earlier on appeared to be close to deciding but has since backed off those statements.
"I was going to choose my school before the season, but now I don't think so. I'm interested to see who all will offer me so I'm going to just take my visits and sign on Signing Day."
