Palmyra (NJ) wide receiver Kelvin Harmon announces his decision tonight, and NC State is one of his finalists, along with Miami.
Harmon had a stellar career for Palmyra, as he totaled 165 catches for 2,764 yards and 36 touchdowns. The 6-foot-3 wideout has impressed Scout.com Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn with his play.
"Harmon catches everything thrown his way, and he is a tremendous competitor with a very good work ethic," said Dohn. "He comes out of his breaks well and locates the football quickly. He knows how to set up defensive backs and he runs tight patterns.
"He has good length, and if not playing for a Group I school, would have a lengthy offer list. He needs to increase his strength and speed, but that should come along as he develops."
Harmon originally committed to South Carolina in the fall before opening back up his recruitment. He has offers from NC State, Miami, Mississippi State, Rutgers, West Virginia, Syracuse, North Carolina, and Indiana among others.
He is being recruited by NC State wide receivers coach George McDonald and tight ends coach Eddie Faulkner.
Harmon is scheduled to announce his decision at 9:00 pm tonight so stay tuned!
