NC State landed a big commitment over the weekend from Raleigh (N.C.) Wakefield signal-caller Matt McKay, and Scout takes a look at what the Wolfpack is getting, and how he fits into their class.

NC State landed one of their top targets this past Saturday when quarterback Matt McKay committed to the Wolfpack.

The Wakefield standout finished his junior season with 2,403 yards passing and 29 touchdowns and 1,186 rushing and 17 more scores.

McKay, who also had offers from Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Temple and Old Dominion, is the third commitment in NC State's 2017 class.
