Palmeiro and Mendoza made the second team at first and third, respectively. McLain garnered a third team mention as an outfielder. Kinneman earned a spot as one of 12 players on the ACC All-Freshman team.

This season marks the 20th year in a row Wolfpack head coach Elliott Avent has guided at least one player to an All-ACC team.

The Pack’s four selections in 2016 are the second-most in the last 10 years, outpaced by last season’s five.

Staff Stat: Ryan Williamson and Brian Brown are the first pair of Wolfpack starting pitchers with seven or more wins since Cory Mazzoni and Jake Buchanan in 2010.  Williamson is currently questionable for the regional with an elbow injury.  Brown is expected to start the opener against Navy.

Need For Speed? Outfielders Brock Deatherage and Josh McLain tie for the team lead in stolen bases with 13.
