MEDIA DAY: Wolfpack Players

RALEIGH, N.C. -- Several NC State players met with the media at Media Day.

"We'll see what happens in a couple of days, couple of weeks.  Whenever the coaches decide."

"It's coming more natural to me.  We all have a little sample of it in the spring."

"Everybody is used to it now."

"We talk about hard, tough, and together all the time."

"I don't know about that. Everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses, but I'm definitely excited about the group we have now."

"It's the same thing. I'm used to it... excited to get out there and keep having opportunities to prove myself."

"We can't wait to scrimmage; get out there and just play."

"We need to do both of them, as far as getting our offense opportunities to score."

"The [other] offense have scholarships too so they are going to have a big play every once and a while."

"You want to limit them as much as you can, but they are on scholarship too.  Our gameplan is to make sure they don't score."

"Now we can think about more what the offense is doing instead of what we have to do."

"I think we're going to be really good, but we have to take it one day at a time."

"He was real cool about it. At first I was thinking this man wouldn't want me to wear his number, but we talked about it.  He said to represent the number the right way. Do good stuff off the field... just carry the number and carry the tradition on."

"My coaches see me as a leader because of this number too."

"Having them expect that from me; I push others in practice."

"Everybody is going to come in and underestimate us... learning from last year, everybody is hungry."

'We can't wait to show what we can do."
