Hill: "I'll Be Fired Up"

RALEIGH, N.C. -- NC State junior defensive tackle B.J. Hill met with the media to discuss the upcoming game against East Carolina.

"It's going to be a good game. It's probably one of the biggest offensive lines we've played so far.  It will be competitive.  It's going to be a war, and I can't wait because it's an in-state game.  I'll be fired up for it."

"I'm just ready to play against them. I just want to win the game... do what we have to do to win."

"I feel like the guys who aren't from North Carolina will be locked in and ready to play.  It's an in-state game, a rival... they are right down the street from us, not too far.  They'll be ready to go."

"We just have to keep improving each week... keep getting better each week and improving the stuff we have to fix from the film."

"We see the same thing from our offense, going against them in camp, uptempo.... we are kind of used to the tempo; it's not really different. We have to go out there and do what we need to do."

"I heard it's going to be pretty loud down there, crazy fans. That's all I know. I haven't really been to a game down at ECU."

"We just played hard and fast.  We made plays and did what we needed to do to win the game.  We have some stuff we need to take off the film that we didn't do as good; we'll need to work on that this week."

"I know for the defense, we had too many [penalties]."

"Stop the run first because they have a really good running back and a quarterback who can run too. Stop the run, then have some fun on third down rushing the passer."

"They will be better than William & Mary. We just have to bring it like every week... come out there ready to play hard, fast, tough and together.  That's it."

"We talked a little bit about it yesterday. They are a pretty good team. We have to do what we need to do; just worry about us and do what we're coached to do. We should be good."

"He did some good things on film. We have to rush the passer on third down or whenever they are passing and get to him, try to affect the pass."
