PACK PRIDE FILM SESSION: Bra'Lon Cherry's Touchdown Catch

We take a closer look at Bra'Lon Cherry's 16-yard touchdown catch against William & Mary in this edition of Pack Pride's Film Session.

All season we plan on breaking down various plays from each NC State football game, and helping us with the Pack Pride Film Session will be local high school coach James Johnson.

Johnson is currently in his second year at West Montgomery (NC) High School where he is the offensive line coach and run game coordinator.  Previously he spent two seasons as head coach at West Stanly (NC) High School where he coached NC State junior defensive tackle B.J. Hill.  Johnson also was on the staff at Richmond Senior (NC) High School for ten years, including five seasons as defensive coordinator, prior to taking over at West Stanly.

Johnson coached NC State redshirt junior Dakwa Nichols while at Richmond Senior.

NC State head coach Dave Doeren mentioned all offseason how the Wolfpack would look be a more productive screen team under new offensive coordinator Eli Drinkwitz, and that was certainly the case in the opener against William & Mary.

Today we're going to look at one of those screens, Bra'lon Cherry's 16-yard touchdown catch that gave NC State a commanding 28-7 lead just seconds before halftime.
