BOWL PROJECTIONS: NC State

NC State's bowl destination won't be known until after this weekend's games, but here's a look at some of the latest bowl projections for the Wolfpack.

NC State's bowl destination won't be known until after this weekend's games, specifically the ACC title matchup between Clemson and Virginia Tech. The league currently has 11 teams eligible for bowls and the ACC has tiered the bowl tie-ins for selection purposes.

What does it all mean for NC State?

Well, at 6-6 the options are limited. Because of the tiering process, NC State is essentially slotted into the Tier II mix, which includes: Military Bowl, Independence Bowl, Quick Lane Bowl and St. Petersburg Bowl.  Those bowls pick in that order and will likely be selecting from the league's 6-6 teams (NC State, Wake Forest, and Boston College).

Here is a look at where some of the latest bowl projections have the Wolfpack playing over the Holidays.
