Roundtree Recaps NC State Official Visit

Largo (FL) defensive end Bobby Roundtree recaps his recent official visit to NC State with Pack Pride and where his recruitment will go from here.

NC State has been recruiting Largo (FL) Bobby Roundtree for awhile but a recent offer from the Wolfpack was enough to help secure an official visit from the 3-star defensive end.

Roundtree (6-3, 215 pounds) talked with Pack Pride about his trip to Raleigh this past weekend and thoughts on the NC State football program.

"It was a great visit," said Roundtree. "It really gave me a chance to learn some things about NC State that I didn't know. I had a chance to meet a lot of the players, the coaches and all of it was good. Dexter Wright hosted me on my visit and coach Kitchings is recruiting me. Coach Kitchings is a good guy and he's done a great job telling me about State. He's given me everything I need to know about NC State. He's a great guy."

Roundtree has already made an official visit to Illinois and plans to officially visit both Indiana and Louisville. He says he could also potentially visit either Minnesota or Michigan State.

So have any schools risen to the top of his favorite's list?

"Right now I like Illinois, NC State, Indiana, Louisville, Minnesota and Michigan State. Out of those, Illinois and NC State stick out because I've visited them. I'll have to see how it goes when I visit some other schools."

Roundtree says he does not currently have a timeline for a decision.

As a senior Roundtree totaled 66 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, seven sacks, one forced fumble and a pass breakup. Scout.com rates him as the No. 98 defensive end in the nation.
