NOTES: NC State commitment Emeka Emezie ended his prep career at Marvin Ridge (NC) High School ended last Friday with an overtime loss in the playoffs to Hickory Ridge.  Emezie more than did his part, as he finished the game with 11 catches for 186 yards and four touchdowns.

Emezie was one of the most productive receivers in the state.  He ended the season with 99 catches for 1,287 yards and 18 touchdowns.

"Emezie is a big target and a very good route-runner," said Scout.com Regional Recruiting Analyst Michael Clark.  "He is able to create space from the defender and has tremendous body control. Emezie shows good hands and good concentration. He can make the tough catch for the first down, but is especially dangerous downfield. Emezie must continue to get stronger and become a better blocker, but he has all the tools to develop into a major playmaker at the collegiate level."

The three-star prospect originally committed to NC State over the summer and briefly opened back up his recruitment before re-committing to the Wolfpack in October.  He chose NC State over offers from East Carolina, Boston College, Kentucky, Wake Forest, and Miami among others.

Here is your chance to catch Emezie in action as he recently posted his senior highlight tape.
