Recruiting Scene: Fedd-Jackson accumulated double digit offers but his recruitment was slowed due to concerns about academics. Once his academic situation began to improve and clear up, Illinois and NC State emerged as the main contenders. He made an official visit to Illinois in December and followed that up with a trip to State in January. Along with teammate Louis Acceus, Fedd-Jackson committed to the Pack while in Raleigh.
Why NC State? "I liked the atmosphere. It was different. The environment was different, and what caught me was how close the offensive line guys were to each other. They were all super close to each other. I met with (offensive lineman) Tony Adams. We bonded.
Picked NC State Over: Illinois, UCLA, Maryland, Rutgers, And Minnesota Among Others
Scouting Report: Fedd-Jackson is aggressive playing at right guard. He fires off quickly and gets out cleanly when pulling. He drives his legs and has quick feet. Fedd-Jackson has a good initial punch and he plays with power. He engages the defender and controls the line of scrimmage. In pass protection, he needs to be more patient and not reach. He also needs to widen his base, but again, he ability to be physical stands out. -- Scout Analyst Brian Dohn
