Recruiting Scene: All signs pointed to Emezie picking NC State and he did just that during the Wolfpack’s summer camp last June. He made a visit to Raleigh with his father and committed prior to departing. However, Emezie had a change of heart and decided to decommit after visiting East Carolina. That only lasted a couple of weeks as he re-committed to State in early October and remained solid despite a late offer from Nebraska.
Why NC State? "I think it's the best fit for me. NC State is a good school with a great Engineering program, and I have a good connection with the coaches."
Picked NC State Over: Nebraska, Wake Forest, Miami, Boston College, Kentucky, And West Virginia Among Others
Scouting Report: Emezie is a big target and a very good route-runner. He is able to create space from the defender and has tremendous body control. Emezie shows good hands and good concentration. He can make the tough catch for the first down, but is especially dangerous downfield. Emezie must continue to get stronger and become a better blocker, but he has all the tools to develop into a major playmaker at the collegiate level.- Scout.com
