More On Raven Saunders: A team captain, Saunders spent his first three years at Oxbridge Academy before transferring to Dwyer.  He played safety as a junior but was limited to five games because of an injury.

Named first-team all-area as a senior, Saunders was rated the No. 122 outside linebacker nationally by, the No. 18 OLB in Florida.

Personal: Only played high school football as a junior and senior. Also plays high school basketball. Grandfather, Lemar Parrish, played in the NFL from 1970-82 for the Bengals, Redskins and Bills.

Recruiting Scene: Saunders committed to NC State in April after an early visit. NC State reportedly his ability to play in space as a field linebacker.

Scouting ReportA hybrid player, Saunders, who checks in at 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds, is capable of playing safety or linebacker on the next level.  As a junior he lined up at safety and tailback but this year he spent most of the season playing outside linebacker.
