POSTGAME: Dorn, Smith Discuss The Wake Loss

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- NC State's Torin Dorn and Dennis Smith met with the media after the loss to Wake Forest.

"Anybody can beat anybody on any given day.  There's no easy games. You have to come every night ready to play."

"You just have to continue to play hard and fight... there's no where to go but up. We have to keep fighting."

"There was a point in the first half where they went on a run... it kind of got away from us to where we stopped competing. We came back in the second half and started competing."

"With five straight losses, the only way to go is up. We have to come with better energy and focus to turn this thing around."

"I don't know. I just feel like we have to play harder and together and things like that won't happen."

"They played great.  Give it to them. They made a lot of shots, but we have to play better and not give them easy shots or those easy looks. We have to be better... that's all I can say.  There's no excuses. We don't have any excuses for it. We have to be better."

"There's no easy games in the ACC, everybody knows that. It's the best conference in America. You have to bring it everyday.  We have to play with a sense of urgency to turn it around. Every possession has to be life and death... we have to play with that fire and fight every night."

"I don't think we've lost confidence. I think we need to find our focus."

"We have a lot of talent on the team. I really believe we can be a great team, I still do."

"We have to turn it around now."

"It begins with me.  I have to make everybody want to play hard... we're not competing as hard as we should be on both ends. I guess I have to initiate that more."
