POSTGAME: Wes Moore

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA -- NC State head coach Wes Moore spoke with Pack Pride after the Wolfpack's win over Virginia.

"That's big. I think our kids... I'm just so proud of them. We had a couple of bumps in the road in our pre-conference schedule, things were a little rocky. For them to pull things together, overcome adversity, and win some of the games they've won, not only at home but also on the road... I'm really proud of them."

"That's senior leadership. We have four kids out there who have been at NC State for four years, and they are warriors. They find a way to get it done. It may not always be pretty, but I'm proud of the effort they gave defensively and on the boards."

"A week ago we gave up 89 points on a Sunday and today it was 48. I'm proud of the effort and the way the kids responded."

"I just like the double bye.  It's going to be tough. That's the bad thing about the double bye... you'll play something really good right out of the shoot.  That's what we're faced with but again, it's a great reward for our kids and keeps us in the hunt for a hosting opportunity in the NCAA Tournament."

"I'm tempted to give them back-to-back days off... but I think we'll stick with our normal routine. We'll take tomorrow off, get back out there Tuesday... Wednesday maybe go a little short because we'll go down to Myrtle Beach right after practice."

"That's what hurts about last week's game. Now we have to get back in that group. We have to go down to Myrtle Beach and play well."

"You erase the boards. Records don't matter now. We'll start over, focus on [the ACC Tournament], and have one more season in the NCAAs."
