Sophomore tight end Thad Moss has announced via Twitter that he will transfer from NC State following the conclusion of the spring semester.
Moss started three games as a freshman in 2016 for NC State. The Charlotte-native caught a touchdown pass in the Wolfpack's win over Old Dominion.
He enrolled at NC State after a stellar high school career at Mallard Creek (Charlotte) where his team won a state title his senior season. The son of NFL-legend Randy Moss, he hauled in 54 receptions for 831 yards and 13 touchdowns with the Mavericks.
News of the pending departure comes one day after the school announced Pharoah McKever would transfer following his graduation at the end of the spring semester.
Pack Pride will have more as the story develops.
