NC State will host six future NCAA competitions as the NCAA announced host sites for preliminary rounds and finals of predetermined championships in Division I Tuesday.
NC State will host the 2020 and 2022 women’s gymnastics regionals and the 2022 men’s and women’s rifle championships at Reynolds Coliseums. The Pack will host a Division I women’s golf regional at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in 2020 and NC State will host first and second round action of the 2021 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship in PNC Arena.
NC State will team with the Greensboro Sports Commission to host the 2021 Division I Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship from March 17-20 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
No stranger to hosting NCAA Championships, NC State has previously hosted gymnastics, men’s basketball, golf and swimming and diving NCAA events. The 2021 men’s and women’s rifle championships will mark the first-time NC State has hosted the rifle national championship.
The 2021 NCAA men’s basketball tournament will mark the 17th time NC State has hosted NCAA Tournament games and the fourth time in PNC Arena. NC State's history hosting the Big Dance dates to 1951 when the Wolfpack hosted and played in three tournament games at Reynolds Coliseum.
