NC State seniors Jack Tocho and Matthew Dayes were selected in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft Sunday.
Tocho, who finished his college career with six interceptions and 26 pass deflections, was chosen by the Minnesota Vikings with the 245th overall pick (27th in the seventh round) of the draft. The Charlotte-native joins Josh Jones as the second member of NC State's secondary to picked by a NFC North team, joining Josh Jones who was a second round choice of Green Bay a day before.
Dayes is NC State's fifth all-time leading rusher with 2,856 yards on the ground in his college career. He scored 34 touchdowns on the ground with the Wolfpack and also finished with 98 receptions for 933 yards and six touchdowns while in college.
