Brackman has Productive In-Home Visits

Andrew Brackman is doing things a little differently. He's going through the in-home visits before finalizing any trips.

The 6-9, 200-pound two-sport star hosted N.C. State basketball coach Herb Sendek and also Wolfpack baseball coach Elliott Avent on Monday night and followed it up with a visit from both the Ohio State baseball coach and Buckeyes basketball coach Jim O'Brien last night.

"Those helped me a lot," said Brackman, who is also a lefty hurler who throws in the low 90s. "I'll set up official visits in a little bit and just go from there."

N.C. State is almost certain to receive an official visit. Brackman could take a trip to the campus as soon Sept. 26. He plans to visit Georgia Tech for baseball this weekend.

"Coach Sendek and the baseball coach were helpful in that they went over ways that I can pull off playing both sports," Brackman added.

In addition to N.C. State and Ohio State, Dayton, Cincinnati and Vanderbilt are also involved.
