"No, I didn't commit but everything went good, and I enjoyed it. Everything went well, and I had fun at the [Texas Tech] game. Jimmy Sutton was my host and he's cool. He's a little wild… one of those crazy Florida guys, but I liked him and all the players."
At the Texas Tech game Bell was able to watch NC State's spread offense and felt that if he chose the Wolfpack he could fit into their scheme nicely.
"Yes, I could fit into what they do. I'm used to a fullback blocking for me, but they don't use a fullback much. They do throw the ball to the running back a lot, and I can catch out the backfield so that wouldn't be a problem."
So, although he didn't verbal to NC State, do they still lead for his services?
"State's still my leader and Michigan's my #2. It's close though between them, and I have my pros and cons about both schools. I'm still going to take my visits to [North] Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Miami."
With two official visits in the books, George hopes to have a decision following his final visit.
"After I get back from Miami I'll be ready. I go there October 17th and once I take that visit I should be ready to decide."
