We asked Davon how his recruiting was going and according to the South Carolina DB, NC State has worked hard and they will have his full attention this weekend.
"I am getting recruited pretty hard by NC State. I am going to their game on Saturday."
Heath will not be alone when he travels to North Carolina.
"They are playing the University of Connecticut. Me and one of my teammates and my daddy are going. I will visit their school. I'll take a peak at their game to see how they are doing. I'll be able to meet the coaches and stuff like that."
Davon has not been formally offered by the Pack as of today, but the recruiting has been steady by the Pack.
"No sir. They have not said much about it (offering). I get letters every week from them. They tell me how the team is doing and stuff like that. It's game by game information."
Heath is also hearing from several southern schools on a regular basis. "I am getting letters from Georgia, Georgia Southern, and a few from UNC. I also got a few letters from Tennessee and Maryland. I attended the Clemson and Florida State football camps."
Devon comes from a great athletic family. His cousin is former South Carolina prep baseball great Earl Cunningham who was a first round and the #3 pick overall in the 1986 Major League Baseball Draft.
Lancaster High School's record stands at 2-4. Heath has amassed over 60 tackles, 2 interceptions and 1 caused fumble.
