Tigers Limp Into Raleigh

The Clemson Tigers have several key injuries following Saturday's OT win over Virginia in Death Valley. However, the Tigers won't be the only team in Raleigh suffering from the injury bug.

Clemson lost a couple of players on Saturday with a few others still questionable for the upcoming NC State game.

J.J. Howard - suffered knee injury (torn ACL) on his sixth play of the Virginia game and is out for the season. Howard started each of the first six games this season and was second on the Clemson team in sacks with four.

Gene Pate - starting holder suffered broken leg while running down the hill prior to Saturday's game with Virginia. Lost for the season.

Airese Currie - starting wide receiver. Missed Virginia game with a sprained ankle. Questionable for NC State.

Khaleed Vaughn - starting defensive end did not play against Virginia after undergoing knee surgery on October 5, questionable for NC State.

Eric Sampson - Starting WHIP linebacker. missed Virginia game with a sprained ankle. Questionable for NC State.

For the Wolfpack, Running Back TA McLendon should be ready to go Thursday night against the Tigers, but the status of DB Lamont Reid, OG Ricky Fowler, and DE Renaldo Moses is still unknown, with Reid and Moses awaiting MRI results.
