Bryant Favors the Wolfpack

Over the summer, Richmond County (NC) quarterback/wide receiver Jamar Bryant said that if NC State offered, he would probably commit. Now that the Pack has offered what is he thinking about the commitment?

Over the summer, Richmond County (NC) quarterback/wide receiver Jamar Bryant said that if NC State offered, he would probably commit. Now that the Pack has offered what is he thinking about the commitment?

"They are a solid number one, I just want to take my visits. I have one set up to Clemson for the second weekend in January (1/9). I am going to visit NC State and Georgia definately, but I am not sure on the other schools and where my officials will be.

"But the chances are pretty good that I will go to NC State."

In his first full year of playing quarterback, after switching between the position and receiver as a junior and sophomore, Bryant has had a strong year.

"I have 1100 yards passing and 700 yards rushing. Add six rushing touchdowns and eleven passing touchdowns with two interceptions."
