Harris: "I Loved Everything About It"

Cherryville (NC) WR Kenneth Harris was in Raleigh on Saturday for NC State's matchup against the Maryland Terrapins. The 6'4 standout had a great time on his visit.

"It was great... I loved everything about it," Kenneth Harris told StateFans. "The coaches were great, and I loved the facilities. It was an overall good visit."

Harris, began his weekend by watching NC State's basketball game against the UNC Asheville Bulldogs.

"I liked the RBC Center a lot. It was the first time I've been in there and that was impressive. Asheville's been recruiting me for basketball too."

When asked which sport, basketball or football, that he will play on the next level, Kenneth gave a quick response.

"Probably football. I don't even think I'll walk-on for basketball either because it's probably too hard on your schedule and academics."

Harris who was officially offered by NC State on his visit, also has a firm offer from the Georgia Bulldogs with North Carolina and Virginia on the verge of doing so. Does he have a leader at this time?

"Probably would be [N.C.] State. I just like it a lot there. I like the coaches and just the atmosphere at State. It was fun."

Harris, who is fully qualified, plans on taking his official visits before announcing his decision.

"I haven't set up any official visits yet. Coach [Dick] Portee is suppose to be calling with some dates so I can set those up. I'll probably be ready after those visits."

This weekend Kenneth will be in Charlottesville, visiting the Virginia Cavaliers as they battle their in-state rival, the Virginia Tech Hokies.
