Players to Watch

NC State
Julius Hodge-- Hodge had a terrific opening game against UNC-Asheville, leading the Wolfpack with 24 points and 11 rebounds respectively. The Bronx, NY native scored in a variety of ways and continued to fill the statsheets, a trademark of Julius. Look for another big night tonight as he contends with a smaller Howard backcourt.

"Mac" Wilkinson-- The 6-foot-9 center is averaging 18 points in Howard's two games this season and he will be the focal point of their offense. A transfer from Louisville, Wilkinson will be a tough challenge inside for the smaller NC State players. If the Wolfpack can limit his effectiveness then they should have little problem with Howard tonight.

Additional Notes

- Howard Sophomore Guard Louis Ford stands a "generous" 5-foot-6 but he's been the sparkplug for Howard early on this season. The match-up between Ford and NC State true frosh PG Mike O'Donnell should be fun to watch.

- Look for Engin Atsur and Jordan Collins to return against Michigan and South Carolina respectively.

- Howard comes to Raleigh from Miami, where it lost to Montana State 57-54 on Sunday in the Florida International Tip-off Classic championship game. The Bison defeated Florida International 67-55 on Friday in the tournament's opening round.

- Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 dollars.
