Antwain's plate was full during his visit, taking in the Wolfpack Athletics and academics and plenty of food from the training table.
"The first day, after I got to the hotel, I went to the Murphy Center. We went and got something to eat at a little restaurant. I ate a whole lot while I was there" Carey said. "After that we went back to the dorm with the players to hang out a little bit, to get to know them."
"On Saturday, I watched them practice a little bit and we went to the game after that" Carey continued. "We also talked about the academic program. We went on a tour of the campus. We looked at the dorms and some classes. I don't know what I want to major in right now."
On Sunday, Antwain was able to spend some one on one time with the coaching staff. "I met with the coaches today. They pretty much told me that red shirting would be left up to me."
A NC State cornerback and fellow Virginian hosted Carey during his stay in Raleigh. "Phillip Holloman was my host. He is from Lake Taylor High School. I knew him from track and field."
Carey also got to know a few recruits while he was there. "I met some other recruits while I was there" Carey said. "It was pretty cool. I met a guy named Dorien (Bryant)."
StateFans asked Carey to rate his trip and to tell us what impressed him the most about NC State. "I rate my trip high. They are a team on the rise. They have Chuck Amato doing good things for the school. He helps the players out and everything. They have come a long way. They are making things happen."

Carey has visits dates set for UNC (1/9/04) and Virginia Tech (1/23/04).
