While in Orlando practicing for the Tangerine Bowl game against the Kansas Jayhawks, the NC State Wolfpack was joined by Miami (FL) Killian Defensive Back Miguel Scott.

"I went to Orlando and practiced for the bowl game," Miguel Scott told StateFans. "I was with the team pretty much the whole time, and I worked out with the safeties. I was a little out of shape from not playing but I held up."

Scott also had good seats for the Wolfpack's 30-point rout of Kansas... from the sidelines.

"I wore a jersey and everything so that was cool. It was just a pretty dominating game by us. Philip Rivers and Cotchery had good games and broke records. Those guys are unreal. It was what all I thought it would be like."

While in Orlando, Miguel was back with his ex-high school teammates who now play for NC State, Pat Thomas, Andre Maddox, and Stephen Tulloch.

"I was with the Killian boys and hung with them a lot. It was straight being back around them."

So when does Miguel Scott officially come to Raleigh to run with the Wolfpack?

"I'll be up to NC State for good on January 8th. I'm excited about that and my family is too. I can't wait."
