One of the main reasons that Setzer is enjoying his experience: Coach Robert Prunty. "Coach Prunty, he's a nice guy. He's a great coach, he's one of the best."
This past season, Prunty and Setzer led Hargrave to an impressive 9-1 record. "We had a great team," Setzer said. "We had the best front four – me, Marcus Hands – those are great players."
Hunter, Mitchell, and Hands are headed to North Carolina to play college football. Not Setzer.
"Tennessee, N.C. State, and Virginia Tech," Setzer said in regards to which schools he's looking to attend.
What are his impressions of each school? "I went to Tennessee two weeks ago," he said. "Tennesseee was a great place it's a big ‘ol stadium. It's very big. They have great coaches. It's a nice place."
"Virginia Tech has great players. They have a great coaching staff, the players are nice, and it's just a great school."
"State is a great place. It's close to home. They have great coaches, Chuck's a nice guy, and that's it. It's a great place."
Setzer, who says that no one leads at this point, noted that he will likely make his decision in February. The three star defensive lineman said that early playing time is the main factor in his decision.
