"I did pretty good considering the conditions and everything," Young told StateFans. "It rained real bad out there so I was slipping, but we handled things. The team went together good and although we were down at first we knew that when we came together it would be over."
Young has taken one official visit thus far, to NC State (12/12), and has trips scheduled to three of the finest college programs in the country.
"I got Ohio State coming up on the 9th, Georgia on the 23rd, and Florida on the 30th. I'll end up picking between those three and N.C. State."
What does he expect to see on his next official visit to Ohio State?
"I'm not too sure about what to expect or whatever. I know that after I get back I can compare it to that NC State visit. That was a good one."
Young visited NC State in mid-December and he still thinks fondly of that trip.
"Yea, that one was pretty cool. I liked it up there and had fun with them boys."
His final two visits will be to Georgia and Florida, places where he has some strong family ties.
"Georgia is where I'm from, and I still have family there. Florida's about the same as them because I live here now with my dad."
When should we expect a decision from Mr. Young?
"I'll know as soon as I come back from that last visit. After that I'll be ready to say who it's going to be."
Does Young have a leader going into his final three official visits?
"No, not really," he said laughing.
