Four-Star Defensive Tackle Ready for Visits

A more svelt-looking Forest Hills (NC) defensive tackle Marque Hall was moved from a top offensive lineman to what will be a top defensive tackle after losing sixty pounds. Now, he will have to use a busy January while turning away the many offers of lobster and steak.

"It is going to be busy, because I don't have an open weekend in January," says the 6-foot-5, 270 pounder. "USC is the 9th, UNC is the 16th, NC State is after that, Tennessee is the 23rd, and Virginia Tech is the 30th."

The plan is for Hall to use every bit of the Martin Luther King weekend to his recruiting advantage.

"I'll probably go to UNC on Friday and Saturday and go to NC State on Sunday and Monday."

Any leaders headed into the visits at all?

"Everybody's equal until I visit some schools. I am looking forward to all of them, and hope I can make South Carolina this weekend. It is supposed to snow on Friday, so we will see."

Hall is much like any high schooler in many ways, and his thoughts are the same on the snow. He would love to be able to make the visit into Columbia, but a day out of school would not hurt his feelings either.
