"It went pretty well. I like the coaching staff a lot up there. So it went pretty good. I got there on Friday and it was snowing. That was a bit of a change. It was nice though. I liked it a lot. We had dinner and met some of the coaches that night. John McKeon was my host while I was there."
Part of the second day was spent checking out the academics at NC State.
"On Saturday, we went through some of the academic stuff and talked to the academic adviser. We toured the campus a little bit."
Saturday evening brought Hannaford back to the Murphy center.
"We ate dinner at the stadium and we got to go into the locker rooms, weight rooms and that kind of stuff. The weight room was incredible. I met with Coach Barry."
Before Kane left Sunday, he was able to meet with the Wolfpack's head coach.
"I met with Coach Amato today. That went pretty well. He talked about how NC State is becoming a national power. He talked about how everything is falling in place."
Did Kane commit while in Raleigh?
"I haven't had anytime to sit down with my parents and talk about it. We will probably talk about it this week. Coach Barry and Coach Demarest are coming down this week so we will talk to them."
Overall, Hannaford rates his visit high.
"It went really good. I would rate it up there as a good visit."
StateFans will continue to follow the recruiting of Kane Hannaford. A decision could likely come after his visit from the NC State assistant coaches.
