Hall was oustanding this year at Fairfax (VA) Robinson Secondary High School.
"I did pretty good," Hall said. "I finished with 11 sacks and 93 tackles. We went 11-1 and I got All-State, All-Metro... all of that good stuff."
Olu narrowed his list early in the recruiting process, focusing on five schools that fit what he's looking for.
"I've cut it down to Virginia, Virginia Tech, Ohio State, NC State, and Purdue. That's in no particular order either. I really am not leaning anywhere right now and that's frustrating. If I had a favorite it would be a lot easier."
Hall has already taken trips to Virginia Tech (12/12), Ohio State (1/9), and Purdue (1/16). Which visit sticks out the most?
"They all were good so it's hard to say, but based on academics I'd have to say Purdue. They really showed me what they have academically, but I know other schools have it to."
His fourth visit is to NC State, a program that intrigues the talented defender. He's already visited North Carolina and liked the surroundings.
"I'm looking forward to it because I've been down South before. I went to Wake Forest for an unofficial visit and all the people down there are cool and it's a nice area. They also have a lot to offer in football and engineering."
Each school has in-home visits sets with Olu, as head coaches will visit the star in the next two weeks.
"I've had Coach Groh (Virginia) in and [today] Coach Tressell (Ohio State) will be at my school. Next Wednesday the other three head coaches will be coming to my school or house. It's been hectic but I like it all."
Don't expect a decision after the NC State visit because Hall is going to take his final trip before deciding.
"I'm going to take all the visits and have a press conference on Signing Day. That's the plan for right now."
