Players to Watch

NC State
Julius Hodge-- Hodge has been in a funk lately and will need to bust out against the Terrapins. Look for Caner-Medley to check Hodge, and both are fiery competitors who lead their teams. This could be a great matchup to follow and the winner of this battle just might lead his team to victory.

John Gilchrist-- Gilchrist almost inked with NC State two years ago out of high school, and last season he played well against the Wolfpack. Atsur and O'Donnell need to control Gilchrist and keep him out of the lane, or NC State will have trouble containing Maryland on their offensive end.

Additional Notes

- Gilchrist signed with Maryland after an intense recruiting battle between the Terps and NC State.

- Travis Garrison and Jordan Collins were teammates at Dematha (MD) High School. Today they may check each other.

- Maryland has won 14 straight against NC State at home.

- The Terps lead the ACC in rebounding, so NC State must keep them off the boards.
