"Yea, it's been tough," DaJuan told StateFans after his press conference. "I feel real good and I just thank god for having the opportunity to do what I did today. I'm real happy with how things worked out."
DaJuan's parents accompanied him and Head Coach Jimmy Bell at the signing. Morgan knew that his family was proud of him and happy about his decision.
"They were real proud and happy. My mom couldn't really put things into words she was so glad. I just looked at her and knew what she felt and that made me feel real good."
Morgan was recruited to play wide receiver by NC State Receivers Coach Doc Holliday, and he feels that plans are in motion to incorporate him in the Wolfpack offense.
"I'm going to play receiver, a little slot, reverse passes... stuff like that. The main thing is they said they want to get the ball in my hands."
DaJuan, who is fully qualified to play as a true freshman, will now spend time with family and friends before heading to NC State. He hopes to join the Wolfpack this summer and he's eager to bring some Florida attitude to Raleigh.
"I may end up coming up in June or July... it just depends on the situation at the time. Either way, I'm just ready to get up there and take care of business."
Take your time DaJuan and enjoy these next couple of days because you definitely have earned them.
