It wasn't pretty, but Cincinnati (OH) Moeller Head Coach Carl Kremer will definitely take it. The Crusaders survived and advanced in the state playoffs with a 55-53 win over Beavercreek last night.

Tied at 53 entering the game's final minute, NC State signee Andrew Brackman hit the game winning basket with 47.7 seconds left on a lay-up.

"It wasn't a work of art, but in the district, the only issue is survival," Kremer told the Cincinnati Enquirer. "There are only 16 teams left; that's all that matters."

Moeller was led by future Xavier University standout Josh Duncan. The 6-foot-8 forward finished with 27 points while going 19-21 from the free throw line. Brackman added 14 points as he and Duncan have led Moeller all season long.

The Crusaders next faces Columbus (OH) Mifflin Thursday at 7:00 PM.
