Brown, Evans to Play in East-West All-Star Game

N.C. State signees RB Andre Brown and QB Daniel Evans will play in the 56th annual NCCA Oasis Shrine East-West All-Star Football Game tonight at 8:00.

Andre Brown caps an amazing high school career at Greenville Rose High School by playing in the All-Star game. As a senior, Brown rushed for 3,479 yards and 46 touchdowns en route to a 4A state championship. He was named Associated Press State Player of the Year, 1st-Team All-State, and Mr. Football in the 4-A Classification. He also earned the Offensive Shrine Bowl MVP Award and Parade All-American Honors among several other accomplishments.

Brown will prep at Hargrave Military Academy next season before enrolling at NC State.

Daniel Evans completed 272 of 473 passes for 3,796 yards and 37 touchdowns last year for an 11-2 Raleigh (NC) Broughton team. Daniel was the last player to sign with NC State, inking with the Wolfpack on National Signing Day.

Other notable players in tonight's game include North Carolina signee K Connor Barth and ECU signees Patrick Pinkney and Juan Williams.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 PM at Greensboro (NC) Grimsley High School's Jamieson Stadium.

The West won last year's game 10-3, but the East leads the all-time series 30-24-1.
