Crouch: "I Like the Environment"

OL/DL Curtis Crouch (6-6, 316, 5.2) of Fayetteville Smith (N.C.) is being recruited on both sides of the ball, but he prefers OT.

"I like OT the most because I like providing a hole for my RB," said Curtis Crouch.

Curtis benches 335 and squats 550. He finished his JR season with 8 sacks. "I'm a good blocker and I have a really good speed burst through the line. I have great vision and awareness and a great rip move. I want to improve my 40 time and stamina. I also want to improve my footwork and agility."

He favors North Carolina St (only offer) solidly over Tennessee, Virginia, Penn St and Georgia. "North Carolina St is only about one hour away. I like the environment. They have a great weight room and I like the new buildings and field. I also have a friend there. My old teammate DeMarcus Tyler plays DE.

"He said it's a great school and thinks I should go there. I have all next year and I plan to use all my time. I'm not gonna commit early. Distance will be the most important thing because I want to stay close. I also want to go where they will be able to help me out in the classroom."

Growing up Curtis always followed Tennessee and plans to attend the Vols camp this summer. "I loved the colors when I was young."
