Millard's Focus Beginning To Narrow

Chad Millard doesn't have to decide this week on a school, but he's educated enough about the process that he could pick if forced to decide on a program.

The list is starting to narrow. Manchester (NH) Trinity shooting guard Chad Millard, a 6-8 standout on the perimeter, has a pretty good idea of his college list at this point.

"Right now I'm looking at North Carolina State." Millard has seen Providence's campus a bunch of times and went to Missouri this year unofficially. He'll be in Raleigh for an event later this month and is expected to see N.C. State's campus at time.

So far, no official visits have been scheduled though Louisville is pushing to get a date worked out with him.

We asked Millard just what would he do if he had to pick a school today? "If I had to decide today, and today was the last day, I could pick a school.

"I haven't seen any of the schools [except for Providence and Missouri] yet, but based on the coaching staff and the style of play, I think I could make a good decision."

Regardless, Millard is in no hurry to end his recruitment. It will probably take until the fall for him to reach a decision.
