Physical stats: Brenner has been timed at 4.6-seconds in the 40-yard dash and boasts a 31.5-inch vertical leap. He is currently bench pressing 330 pounds and has a max squat of 535 pounds.
Stats as a junior: Last season Brenner was in on 128 total tackles including five sacks, 15 tackles for loss, two interceptions, 10 pass breakups and five fumbles caused.
Awards: Brenner was named all-area, all-county and all-conference as a junior.
Brenner describing himself: "I have an aggressive first step with explosive closing speed and can change direction with purpose. I want to be the first defender to the ball. Am strong enough to shed all blocks. I'm a big play-maker."
What Brenner is looking for in a future college: "I'm looking for a Division one program that I can make a difference and compete for a conference championship, a bowl game victory and a national championship."

Brenner on NC State: "(I like) the coaching staff, winning tradition, location and academic reputation. My sister Rebekah is a freshman at State. I had a workout with Coach Diaz last summer at their camp and I liked the coaches I met."
Academics: Brenner boasts a 3.62 GPA and has scored an 1120 on the SAT. He plans to major in Business.
