Lakewood (SC) safety/running back J.C. Neal is one of the premiere prospects in the Palmetto State. He has seen a multitude of offers come in over the past month.

The list includes Maryland, Duke, South Carolina, Clemson, Auburn, Wake Forest, Vanderbilt, Florida State, NC State, North Carolina, and Notre Dame have all offered full scholarships.

"NC State is my leader," said the 6-foot-1, 175-pounder. "I like what they have been telling me. They want me as a running back or a wide receiver. I'm going up their next month and the first thing I want to see is the stadium."

Neal would like to major in computer programming, but that is just one of the many aspects he wants to see from his schools.

"I'm looking at playing time, graduation rates, the environment, and how I fit in at the school as the most important things in the college I pick."

Editor's Note: J.C. is an explosive athlete who projects as a running back, defensive back, or wide receiver at the next level. Neal has been timed as low as 4.37 in the 40 yard dash, while ripping off a 4.45 on a wet surface at the Blacksburg (VA) NIKE Camp as a rising junior in 2003. At 6'1 and 175 pounds, he has offers from some of the best programs across the nation and would be a nice pick-up for the Wolfpack.

Check out these exclusive clips from StateFans, and you will see why J.C. is considered one of the top athletes in the country.
