- Hoyte may forever be known for the knockout punch he landed on an unsuspecting kick returner back in 2002. The talented ‘backer possesses great size but average speed. Between he and LB Pat Lowery, the two have solidified the middle of the Pack LB crew and both have provided steady consistent play. With two years of experience under his belt, 2004 could potentially prove to be a breakout season for Hoyte.

Recognition potential

- With a bevy of talented LB's in the ACC, landing all-conference mention could be tough although the potential is certainly there.
