Brackman, Moeller Capture State Title, 6-2

"Tyler Stovall hit a two-run homer in a six-run second inning that carried Cincinnati Moeller to a 6-2 win over Mentor and the Division I state baseball championship Saturday."

Moeller completes the championship season with a 28-3 record.

NC State signee Andrew Brackman finished the game on the mound for the Crusaders, recording the final four outs. Brackman tossed a two-hitter in the semifinals for Moeller.

Brackman's attention now turns to the 2004 MLB Amateur Draft held on Monday, June 7th. StateFans will have more from Andrew on the state championship title and his draft thoughts shortly so stay tuned.
