Coral Gables, Fl. - NC State's baseball season came to an end tonight after the Wolfpack's 10-2 defeat at the hands of Florida Atlantic.
This loss came hours after NC State's first defeat in the regional, a 19-5 blowout to the Miami Hurricanes.
NC State's Joey Devine picked up the loss against Florida Atlantic, yielding six earned runs in three innings of work.
Florida Atlantic will now face the Hurricanes Sunday afternoon at 1:00 PM. Game two is set for 4:30 PM if necessary.
The Wolfpack finishes the 2004 season 36-24 and fails to advance to the Super Regionals of the NCAA Tournament.
