Speculation that Ohio State would be interested in Sendek, a former Miami (Ohio) coach, began almost as soon as O'Brien got the boot. To NCSU athletics director Lee Fowler's credit, he didn't take long to start gathering information on any possible Ohio State interest in the Wolfpack coach.
