State Still the Leader for Williams?

When Julian Williams went down with an injury during the North Carolina 4A state championship, the New Bern (N.C.) offensive lineman was unsure how his recruiting would go or if he could even play football again. He is now completely back and in the thick of recruiting.

"I tore my MCL, PCL and hurt my ACL, too," says the 6-foot-4, 275 pounder. "Things are ok now, and I am running full speed."

He is even participating in camps, and he has three offers currently.

"Things are pretty much the same in recruiting as they have been. I still have offers from three schools; N.C. State, Maryland, and East Carolina. I went to the N.C. State camp and there was a lot to learn there. I got help on pass blocking and using the right technique."

For quite some time, the Wolfpack many considered the front-runner for Williams. Is that still the case?

"They are still the team to beat. I really want to see who will offer, but I have no real favorite. I still want teams like North Carolina and Clemson to offer before I commit."
